Throughout my thirty-year career as coach and singer, I have worked with all sorts of artists, genres, and levels: from beginners to advanced; as well as with those who exercise professionally and make a living out it. With hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of students which I am proud to refer to as colleagues, I wanted to offer a window to showcase their feedback and talent. I hope more new voices become part of this list for the years to come. Below just some of them:

Tamela Headstrom- Two times Latin Grammy Nominee

Singer, composer, writer and entrepreneur. This two time Grammy award nominee has worked with latin artists such as: Chayanne, Calle 13, Sin Bandera, Rosana, Bosé, Fonseca, Gilberto Santa Rosa, and more.

Rock Sensation – Due to Openings to many world renowned rock bands such as Aerosmith, Guns and Roses.

Singer, composer and actor. This founding member of rock band ‘’Gandhi”, has opened for international bands such as Aerosmith, Guns and Roses, La Ley, Aterciopelados, Jaguares, Café Tacuba, Fito Páez, Deep Purple, and more…

Hello I am is Luis Montalbert, I am the soloist of Gandhi and Gourguen Mkrtytchian’s student. My experience with Gourguen has been wonderful really; Gourguen has been an excellent coach for me… We have explored my skills, my corporal ability, my projection, my breathing…a lot of things… we have reached places I never thought I could sing and also considering the frequency that sometimes the level we have reached demands, that is having several concerts and the voice intact. For me it’s been very revealing throughout this journey and also rewording to know that it is possible… maybe my natural build did not have a particular sensitivity, and to realize that the technique may take me there… that the technique is so precise and useful for singing.

’La Media Docena” & ‘’The Half a Dozen’

Theater and film comedy actors and producers

Hello we are from ‘’The Half a Dozen’’ and for our recent spectacle in honor to the greatest Les Luthiers, we learned how to sing with vocal coach Gourguen Mkrtytchian and now we sing like Pavarotti… (humorous tone), no, really…he actually saved me from being aphonic… practice, practice, don’t be afraid… Really he gave us great tips on how to place the voice, good breathing tips which is very important, thank you.

Paciflora – Gypsy, Folk Band

Hello we are Christine and Marta and we are Paciflora and Gourguen is our vocal coach since the beginnings of our career as a band and he has been an immense help for us, to raise the level, get to know our voice, increase confidence, and a bunch of other things… yes he is super special, super recommended. Thank you Gourguen for all… now we sing like little birds…hahaha…and we hope we can stay in class a lot more.
