There is no better way to describe latin music than by its fast paced tempo, energy and momentum. Salsa, for example, makes that very evident. Additionally, the vast majority of these genres are written in high tesitura. Without the right coaching, inexperienced or professionals, in reality have no true skill, technique or tools to endure the pace of the music nor its range, as they should. Slowly but steady their vocal chords will experience higher difficulty and the brightness of the voice will disappear and with it, the ability to sing. In this genre it is especially important to synchronize the right breathing with the tempo and the production of sound. My technique, unique in terms of breathing support, allows the singer to be able to learn how to breathe correctly, not like an opera singer would do, if that is not the genre. The singer will thrive with fast paced rhythms, allowing the artist to truly enjoy and be present in the performance, not concerned about the next set or “what if” if they are not able to keep up.
