About

I was born in Georgia and raised in an Armenian household as a single child. When the time came to select a career, I decided to go for two professional fields: sports and music. The love for music and singing came from my mother Avelina (“Eva”), who was a part-time dentist and part-time singer. Specifically, I graduated as a Athleticism Sports Trainer from the Gtsolifk Sports University in Moscow, Russia and as a Tenor.

I studied at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow under the instruction of Maestro Alexander Fedin from the Bolshoi Theater and graduated from the Bishkek Kyrgyzstan Conservatory under the mentorship of Maestro Bullat Minzilkiev from La Scala di Milano Theater and Maestro Leonid Tretiakov from Buriatia and Kyrgyzstan Theaters. As a result of the social and political instability in Russia, I relocated to Costa Rica, a beautiful Central American country that was my home for over 20 years until the opportunity to move to Colorado presented itself in 2022.

I hold 30 years of experience as a singer and a vocal coach. The most significant milestones of my professional career include:

  • Private masterclasses and years of vocal coaching by singing legends such as Maestro Gaetano Bardini, soloist of the New York Metropolitan Theater, Maestro Oscar Scaglioni, who sang with Mario del Monaco, Giusseppe Di Stefano, Tito Skippa, and Ettore Bastianini, and Maestro Simon Baddi, former student of Plácido Domingo.
  • Performances for political figures such as the former Costa Rican President Oscar Arias Sánchez – awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
  • Performances on TV shows such as “A Star is Born” and “Singing for a Dream.”
  • Vocal coaching of professional and renowned artists especially, Latin Grammy Nominee Tamela Haedstrom, Latin American Idol finalist Eduardo Aguirre, and English Symphony National Orchestra Recording Artist Fred Hall.

In terms of musical genres and styles, I enjoy many, and have coached all, but my heart loves: opera, rock, and pop ballads. I admire the late Mario del Mónaco and Franco Corelli. I love energetic songs from AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, and romantic ballads from José José, Cristian Castro, David Bisbal, Elvis Presley, and Whitney Houston. Singing is everything to me; it’s my life; it’s peace, happiness, adrenaline, passion, beauty… and all I want is to continue to contribute to the world’s most international language and art form in every way I can.
